Update

She’s been larded up with antibiotics and two different wormers, and we’ve had blood drawn to check for the Big Three: Feline Leukemia, FIV, and some other nasty something…. coronavirus ? I forgot. Whatever it is, it sounds yucky — the cat gets a cold, and then a couple years down the line, all its veins disintegrate. Or something. It was after work and I was a little brain dead.
After spending all that money on the little booger, we figured we might as well move her out of the mud room and into the guest bedroom (drier, warmer, better for her cough).
She’s definitely doing her best to make sure we don’t chuck her back out on the road — plenty of eye contact, cute squeaky meows & purrs. Plenty of crawling around on you, licking your face, snurlfing your ear, and other adorable teat-seeking-behavior-easily-misconstrued-as-affection. She tucks right into the kitten food, so she’s all weaned and stuff, but she’s still got those snuggling-up-to-mommy habits. Awww…
